Online and off, our maps give you what you need to find hunting spots, scout, manage your land, and plan your ideal hunting strategy.
Visualizing and understanding your hunt area in and out is critical to increasing your odds of a successful hunt in the field. All of our maps function the same but provide different imagery. Within each tab is the layer that falls under each category that you can apply which will add it across all of the United States.
Base Layer provides the most up-to-date information (0-3 years old). On the National Layer, you will find Land Ownership, Places of Interest, Roads/Trails, Wildfires, Timber Cuts, and Cell Phone Coverage.
The State Layers option gives members the ability to turn on map layers that are specific to that state.
Some states do have more map layers than others and some map layers are only specific to that specific states so members may not see the same map layers across states.
When you click on the map layer button on the map, it will open a menu and at the top, there will be 3 options: Layers, Favorites, and Active. In the layers tab, this is where you can set base, nationwide, and state-specific layers. In the favorites tab, you can view the favorited map layer which can be favorited by clicking the star icon on the layer. The active tab will show all active map layers that you have on your HuntWise app.
